Who is behind Casapalabra?

Hello! I’m Claudia Madrid, a Chilean native with a background in Journalism and Communications.  I left Chile 26 years ago and have primarily lived in the U.S., along with experiences in Uruguay and India. Teaching Spanish has become my passion, as it beautifully combines my love for language, literature, and engaging with people.

Since starting my teaching career in 2001, I have had the pleasure of working with Montgomery County Public Schools through the Foreign Language in Elementary Schools (FLES) program and taught in the Spanish program at the National Child Research Center (NCRC). Additionally, I have extensive experience in private teaching and tutoring students of all ages.
